Step into the spotlight and discover the world of Theatre Jazz! Our Adult Theatre Jazz (Absolute Beginner) class introduces you to the fundamentals of jazz dance with a theatrical twist. Each week, you’ll learn simple choreography, improve your coordination, and dance to upbeat musical-theatre tracks - all while having fun and meeting new people. Designed especially for absolute beginners, this class is perfect if you’ve never danced before or have no prior jazz experience. You’ll learn the foundations of theatre jazz in a relaxed, supportive environment - with the freedom to move at your own pace and choose options that suit your comfort level. Join a community of first-time dancers in our beginner-friendly class and experience the joy of dancing through life - one jazz step at a time! In this class you will; • Learn the foundations of Theatre Jazz • Understand key dance vocabulary and terminology to build your skills • Explore a variety of musical theatre styles  • Improve your rhythm, timing and musicality • Develop strength, balance, and coordination • Build confidence and enhance your performance skills • Enjoy the fun and joy of moving your body to music What to bring; ​ • Wear comfortable activewear • Bring a water bottle • Bring jazz shoes (if you have them) If you don't have jazz shoes, you are welcome to wear any closed-in supportive shoes.
