This class designed for our 50+ community is upbeat, welcoming, and supportive, with easy-to-follow movements that are gentle on the joints and adaptable to your comfort level. Go at your own pace or add a little extra flair if you’re feeling energized.

Enjoy great company and fantastic music, while improving your cardiovascular fitness, balance, and coordination. Come for the exercise - stay for the smiles, laughs, and the joy of movement!

Ready to Dance? (FAQ'S)

Do I need any dance experience?

Not at all! You don’t need any dance experience to join this class. It’s designed for everyone - no matter your experience or ability. The vibe is energetic, easy-going, and supportive, so there’s zero pressure to “get it right." It’s all about having fun, enjoying the throwback tunes, and moving your body in a way that feels good. 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in - leggings, track pants, shorts, t-shirts, or singlets. Our dancers usually wear all black. You can start with runners/sneakers, and can purchase jazz sneakers later on.

 

​What should I bring?

 

A water bottle, comfortable clothes, and a small towel if you need it. Most importantly - bring your enthusiasm and willingness to try something new!

 

Is this similar to Zumba or Aerobics?

Our class has a similar feel-good, high-energy vibe to both Zumba and aerobics - but with its own unique twist. Like Zumba, it’s dance-inspired, set to upbeat throwback hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s, and designed to feel more like a party than a workout. And like aerobics, it’s a full-body cardio session that gets your heart pumping and leaves you feeling accomplished.

What if I’m feeling nervous about starting?

That’s completely normal! Our studio is known for being warm, friendly, and welcoming. You’re encouraged to ask questions, take breaks and go at your own pace. Most students feel much more confident after their very first class!

Can I join at any time?

We run classes on a term basis (10 weeks), with bookings required in advance.

This helps keep the group consistent and supports your progress week-to-week.

Casual classes or drop-in classes?

All of our 'Beginner' & 'Open' classes are available to drop in on a week-to-week basis.

Free trial classes?

Unfortunately we do not offer any free trial classes. However you are welcome to join us for a casual class before you commit to the class for the term.

Performance opportunities?

We have two performance opportunities at our Mid-Year Cabaret (May) and End-of-Year Cabaret (November). Both of which are non-compulsory for our dancers.

Is there parking nearby?

Parking available onsite, entry via driveway at 259 Pacific Highway.

What is the closest public transport?​

Our Lindfield Studio is a short 4 min walk from Lindfield Station. Walking on the Pacific Highway side just after the Lindfield Library.​
